Traffic Splitting in Linkerd using SMI
Aug 11, 2017
Traffic Splitting in Linkerd Linkerd is CNCF service mesh project for Kubernetes. Linkerd 2.4 introduces traffic splitting functionality, which allows users to split traffic destined for a particular service across multiple services. Traffic can be split based on the weight given for a particular service, or by percentage. This traffic splitting is useful for performing canary deploys and blue/green deploys, which can be useful for reducing risk when publishing new code to production — the push can be done gradually, and potentially rolled back if things go wrong.
Setting up a blog with Wyam and Github Pages
Jul 26, 2017
I’ve always wanted a blog and everytime I chose the hard-way as I wanted to manage the whole stack myself on a Windows server (because .Net Framework) and then with the advent of .Net Core I moved onto a linux server which decreased my costs slightly but I wasn’t happy as my Azure credit couldn’t afford either of the options.
Now here I’am with a blog which costs only my time (which I have in plenty).
